Welcome to the 2024-25 season! We hope you are enjoying the last days of summer and the beginning of the school year for some.

We are in the process of updating our website with important information for the season. Our meet and practice schedules are still being finalized. In the meantime, please add the following dates to your calendar!

Kick-Off Meetings – Sunday, 9/8
Parents, please join us for our BBD Kick-Off Meetings, on Sunday, 9/8 at the YMCA.

• Noon-1:00 – Parents of new swimmers
• 1:15 2:15 – Parents of returning swimmers

First Week of Practice 9/16-9/19
Our practices for the 2024-25 season will begin the week of September 16th and will have a staggered start. Coaches will share more information on the full schedule as we get closer the the start of the season. The schedule will be very similar to last year. Please note the following first day of practices:
9/16 – 13&ups
9/17 – 9/10’s
9/18 – 11/12’s
9/19 – 8&under

Jump Start Cancellation Dates – 9/2 & 9/3
For those swimmers participating in Jump Start program (registered returning swimmers ages 11 and up), please note that the following dates will be canceled due to Labor Day and pool availability. There is no practice on 9/2 and 9/3.

Lisa Ferris Fall Festival (BBD Hosted Meet) – 10/26-27
As previously communicated, the first YMCA Meet of the season will be hosted by our team 10/26-27 at Lake Orion High School. We expect BBD swimmers to participate in this meet and for parents to be available to volunteer. More information on how to sign up for this meet and volunteer opportunities will be shared at the kick-off meetings.
