Notifications of last minute changes
We expect our parents to check the website for practice changes, but we also understand that last minute changes can be hard to manage. When these last minute changes happen, one of our parent volunteers sends out this news via text message.
In order to receive these texts your cell phone number must be entered in your profile. Please follow the directions below to add or edit your number so you receive all the latest communication. *Note – you must do this for each of your swimmers
Dear Parents and Swimmers,
The competitive season got off to a great start this weekend with a great meet. Our swimmers were stellar, and our parents, led by the board did an outstanding job running the meet. Thank you to our executive board for acting as meet managers and to all of our parents for lending a hand. There is no way we could run a meet without all of you. All of our swimmers need the feedback from the competition. The income from the meet helps us run the type of program we value.
We are waiting for US Swimming to establish the time standards for the US State Meets and then we will provide the swimmers with goal sheets to help them set meaningful goals. Many of our swimmers already achieved Y State and Zone times.
We are off to a great start.

The season has gotten off to a fine start. Swimmers are learning a great deal at every practice and making a lot of progress.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES FOR OUR FALL MEET!
We had some great news recently. Every season the YMCA National organization compiles a list of the fastest times recorded by YMCA swimmers, eleven and up, during the previous season. There are 526 Y teams, 25,586 swimmers and 215,043 swims in the database. We have many swimmers and relay teams in the rankings. Individuals are recognized by their age and relays by the age-group. Congratulations to all of these swimmers.

On 7/21/2019 the online tool that manages bbd’s registration, events, homepage, etc moved from Team Unify to the ActiveHyTek platform.
