The 2024 Michigan YMCA 9 & Over State Championship meet held at Saginaw Valley State University on March 2-3, 2024 is now open for entries. This meet is a required meet for all swimmers who have achieved 9 & Up YMCA State Qualifying times, except for high school boys. The deadline for entry is Thursday, February 22 at 8pm. No late entries can be accepted!

If you miss the sign-up, your child will not be able to swim because there are no deck entries. I highly recommend signing up as soon as you receive this email and double check your entry. You can always adjust entries any time before the deadline if needed (don’t forget to click SAVE). Any new qualifiers from YMCA 8&under States will need to email their qualified event if they desire swimming at this meet.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY (BONUS SWIMS): If your child has at least one qualifying time, you will receive an extra email alerting you to the meet available for entry in your Parent Portal. Swimmers who have achieved only 1 or 2 individual event time standards may supplement their entry with bonus events so that the total of individual events (qualified event(s) plus bonus swims) equals 3 individual events for the meet (i.e., 1 qualified time can add 2 bonus or 2 qualified with 1 bonus).

IMPORTANT ••• BBD is hosting this meet •••, therefore volunteers are needed to run a smooth, successful meet. At least one person is REQUIRED to volunteer for EACH session your child is swimming. We cannot make this meet happen without you! Please see the signup genius below for volunteer signup and please pay close attention to signing up for the correct sessions (ie 13&overs in the AM sessions and 12&unders in the PM sessions).
