Hello BBD Swim Families,

I hope this message finds you well. I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Head Coach of the Birmingham Blue Dolphins. It has been an incredible journey working with this team for the past 11 years, and I am deeply honored to step into this new role.

First and foremost, I would like to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to Coach Kevin Fogarty, who dedicated over 40 years to leading our team with passion and commitment. His legacy of excellence, and unwavering dedication has built this team to become one of the premier programs in the country. I am profoundly grateful for his years of service and the positive impact on every swimmer that has swam for BBD.

I want to express my gratitude for the trust and support that you, the families, have shown me over the years. Our swim team is not just a group of athletes; we are a family, and it is this sense of community that makes our team truly special.

As we embark on this new chapter, my primary goal is to continue fostering an environment where every swimmer feels valued, motivated, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I am committed to maintaining the high standards of excellence, sportsmanship, and camaraderie that have always been the hallmarks of our team.

I am excited to carry on the traditions that our team has implemented for years, as well as bring fresh ideas and strategies to our team! I look forward to working closely with each swimmer to develop their skills and achieve their personal bests. We have a fantastic season ahead of us, filled with opportunities for growth, competition, and fun. I look forward to partnering with all the assistant coaches to create the an excellent experience for all members of our team.
